The isolation brought about by coronavirus has been tough on everyone not least the children receiving treatment for cancer. Big C Little Warrior recently visited Sheffield Children’s Hospital and the Weston Park Young Adults unit to distribute gift bags.
It seems like a long time ago that we were enjoying our first fundraiser in North London. It’s no understatement to say that the coronavirus pandemic has changed the world. The operation of many charities, ourselves included has been interrupted.
At the height of the pandemic, many of the hospital wards were closed to visitors. We must protect the patients, particularly those whose immune systems are weakened by their treatments.
We’re looking forward to an easing of the lock-down measures. We will be working on the wards as soon as it is safe. Our first treatments will be Henna tattoo crowns, manicures, pedicures and gel nails!

Did the children enjoy the gifts? We think the smiles on their faces say it all.
Those bags are amazing and it meant so much to the kids on the ward and their families so thank you
Thank you so much to everyone who helped with our fundraising efforts so far.
